Frances Louise Eakins Campbell, 82, Orem, died Friday at her home of a heart attach.
She was born Oct. 9, 1877, in Almy, Wyo., a daughter of James A. and Lydia Brown Eakins. She was married to John Howard Campbell on Oct. 11, 1898, in Evanston, Wyo. He died Dec. 5, 1948.
She received her education in Evanston, Wyo., and after her marriage made her home in Evanston where Mr. Campbell served as chief engineer of Evanston Power Co. In 1904 they moved to Montpelier, Idaho, and in 1913 came to Provo where they lived until 1939 when they moved to Orem. There they engaged in poulty farming.
In 1945 they moved to California Grove where they lived until Mr. Campbell's death. They she moved with her son to Provo and later to Orem where she resided since.
She was a member of the Provo Community Church and a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Her hobby was fancy needlework.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Chelsea H. Campbell, Orem; Henry A. Campbell, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Dora L. Radke, and Mrs. George (Carol) Farrell, both of San Fransisco; Mrs. Herbert (Eunice) Strohmeier, San Mateo, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Berg Drawing Room Chapel Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Ellenbass, pastor of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
