Mary L. Bednarski
Mary Lou Bednarski, 82, of Greenfield died July 31, 2003.
Born Feb. 24, 1921 in Hancock County, she was the daughter of Raymond and
Winifred (Kelly) Eakin.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son Raymond Bednarski of Morristown; daughters Alice
Thomas of Cape Coral, Fla. and Barbara Vansickle of Fortville; brother Joseph
Eakin of Oaklandon; sisters Leona Pugh of Brooksville, Fla. and Laura Carter of
Daphne, Ala.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William W. Bednarski, whom she married
April 28, 1945; son Steve Bednarski; and brothers Charles J., Emmett and Basil
Eakin.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in
Greenfield with Father Joseph Reidman officiating.
Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
