EDWARDS, Alease P., 88, of Keysville, passed away on December 6, 2012 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of W.A. Edwards Jr. She is survived by her son, Larry Edwards and his wife, Carolyn; seven granddaughters, Debbie Rushing, Brenda Wade (James), LouAnne Edwards, Carey Hare, Veronica Molina, Mary Drinkwater (Chappell) and Bethiah Bell (Rick); and eight great-grandchildren, Damian, Kendrick, Ethan, Ilora, Dalton, Bronson, Sydney and Johnny. She spent 42 years in the banking business and retired from the Bank of America in Victoria, Va. She loved flowers, animals, travel and her God, Jehovah. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
