Deanna Dykstra Ball, the beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father has returned to his presence. She left this earth life Sunday evening February 5, 2012.

She was born March 12, 1937 in Ogden, Utah to William J. and Martha Hansen Dykstra. Deanna was a very active student at Washington Junior High School, serving on the junior council and an officer in the pep club. She also played the lead in the school play and was thrilled to be elected valedictorian. She then attended and was a graduate of Ogden High School and continued that same type of active life. Her school involvement continued at Weber College and was elected by the student body as Freshman Queen. Her academic excellence was also maintained and graduated with high honors.

On August 16, 1957 she was married to Joseph Kent Ball for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They resided in several areas during her life including Salt Lake City, Murray, Bountiful, Morgan and Saint George, Utah. They also lived in Mesa, Arizona.
Deanna and Joseph were blessed with three children. They have seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Deanna was an expert seamstress, an accomplished pianist and loved to paint, especially the beauties of the earth. She also enjoyed reading, music, family and friends. She always had a very pleasant countenance and was a joy to be around.

She was the happiest when she was able to serve others. One of her happiest times was working in the Mesa Temple. She also held many positions in her church including Stake Young Women's President and Stake Relief Society President. However, Deanna truly loved the Lord and enjoyed all of her callings because she believed that is what He wanted her to do and desired very much to please Him and be worthy of his blessings.

Interment in the Coalville Cemetery.
