Duncan Rites Held
Funeral services for Laura Bradford Duncan were conducted at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Dean Looper of Elk City; and Keith Parker officiating. Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery at Hammon.
Laura Bradford Duncan was born July 24, 1917, in Roger Mills County, departed this life August 15, 1977, at the age of 60 years 21 days. She grew up and attended school in Roger Mills County and was married to Claude Bradford at Cheyenne, Ok. He preceded her in death in September 9, 1970.
She was married a second time to Randall Duncan on July 28, 1972, at Woodward, Ok. where she lived at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband of the home in Woodward; and by 2 daughters, Mrs. Claudette Ross, Elk City; and Mrs. Sherry Gwartney of Okmulgee Ok.; and by 2 sisters, Mrs. Odessa Benn, Elk City; and Mrs. Rannie Mae Walker, Denison, Texas; two brothers, Clay and Wesley Dykes, both of Elk City; also by four grandchildren, Steven Lannett and Johnny Ross and Aaron Gwartney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Wesley M. Bradford who was killed in a car accident in 1972.
