Julia married James Wilson Barron (1795 - 24 Aug 1858). In the 1860, Julia was born c.1811, and in 1870, she was born c.1808.

In the 1860 and 1870 U.S. Census, the widowed Julia was living in Washington, DC, with the family of her daughter, Annie Emma (Barron) Johnson (16 July 1837 - 20 Oct 1920). Annie was born and died in Washington, DC, and she married George J. Johnson (Apr 1825 - 29 Mar 1902) on 7 Feb 1856. Annie and George are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Annie is #43883365.

Julia was also the mother of Willie Francis Barron (born c.1840). He was born in Washington, DC. He may be the Willie F. Barron who married D. C. Reinhol on 12 Oct 1865 in Washington, DC.

"On the morning of July 4th, 1877, Mrs. Julia A. Barron, aged 72 years. Her funeral will take place from the residence of her son-in-law, George J. Johnson, 480 Louisiana avenue this (Thursday) afternoon, at 5 o'clock p.m. Her friends are respectfully invited to attend."
