A resident of White Hall, Illinois, he is survived by a daughter: Mrs. Phaon (Bernice) Meek; and a son: Dean Dyer, both of White Hall; seven grandchildren and two g-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son; three brothers; and one sister.
