She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Bowman, and her second husband, Alex Presley.
She was bom April 14, 1901 at Honaker, Va., and was a daughter of the late Samuel Patton and Josephine Houchins Dye.
Surviving are two sons, D. L, Bowman of Westvlew, Ky., and C. Vick Bowman of Lynchburg; five daughters, Mrs. Z. J. Fortner of Big Island, Mrs. H.R. Collins of Oxen Hill, Md., Mrs. W. C. Hall of Anandale. Va., Mrs. R. L. Green of Manningon, Mrs. Pat Humphries of Lynchburg; four brothers, Robert Dye of
Tazewell, Va., Perry Dye and Clive Dye, both of Honaker, Claude Dye of Logan; one sister, Mrs. Dora Bostic of Honaker; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake
Chapel in Lynchburg.
Burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
