Willie L. Davis passed away at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.
She was born to Amanda and Odell Dye Sr. on June 24, 1932 in Hughes, Arkansas. She is survived by three children, Sophia Gibson-Scott and James B. Gibson Jr., of Danville, and James C. Harris of Tampa, Fl.; three grandchildren, Maurece (Pastor Sidney) Thomas, Courtney Gibson and Stephen Scott, all of Danville; two great-grandchildren, Chelsea Amanda Thomas and Jackson Courtney Gibson of Danville; an aunt, Mother Louise Lewis of Danville and two nieces, Gloria Dye, Pastor Mary Bryant of Danville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Odell Dye Jr.; a daughter, Mildred Dye and the late Pastor Leonard Bryant.
