JULIA DUTCHER BANNO Dies in Utica Hospital
A complication of Diseases as Result of a Broken Hip - Formerly Resided in Ogdensburg
UTICA March 10 - Mrs. Julia Dutcher, widow of Francis Banno, died in a local hospital Monday evening. She had been visiting at the home of Mrs. Edward Murphy, 1300 Elm street and sustained a fall three weeks ago, which broke her hip. She was removed to the hospital, where a complication of diseases resulted.
Mrs. Banno was born in Cherry Valley, July 16, 1836, and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Dutcher. She had resided in Barneveld for 17 years, but came to this city last autumn. While in Utica, she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. William Plopper, 26, South Hamilton street. Before living in Barneveld, Mrs. Banno had lived in Ogdensburg, where she was a member of the Congregational church.
Her husband died last April. In addition to the daughter in this city, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. John Lincoln of Ogdensburg. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
