Gertrude C. Durkin of 73 Maynard St., a former teacher in the Pawtucket school system, died Sunday at home.
She was the widow of Dr. Patrick A. Durkin.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Duffy) Lynch.
Mrs. Durkin was a graduate of the former Rhode Island College of Education, now Rhode Island College.
She was a member of the Pawtucket Women's Club and the Memorial Hospital Club. She was a past president of the Catholic Women's Club, and a member of the Women's Auxiliary, Rhode Island Medical Society.
She leaves no immediate survivors.
