M. Durdan 

Mrs. Mary Durdan, 75, 311 S. Sterling St., died at 12:30 a.m. today in St. Mary's hospital, shortly after arrival. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at 4-9 p.m. at Solon funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. 

Mrs. Durdan was born August 28, 1899, in Grand Rapids township, a daughter of William and Josephine (Fertig) Anthe. She married Peter Durdan, Nov. 24, 1924 at St. Mary's church in Grand Rapids township.

Survivors are two sons, Richard of Route 4 and Thomas of Grand Ridge; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Rudolph Anthe of Ottawa and Joseph and Frank Anthe of rural Grand Ridge and a sister, Katherine Anthe of rural Grand Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Gertrude Anthe. Mrs. Durdan resided in Grand Ridge and Streator area all of her life. She was a member of St. Anthony's church.
