Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Dupree known to most as either "Ma" or "Aunt Snookie", passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. She was the beloved mother of three children, grandmother of twelve, great grandmother of twenty-five, great-great grandmother of five. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Churh. She is best known for her years of dedicated service to the Franklin Parish School Board where she was a school bus drvier for over 20 years.

She is reunited in death with her beloved husband, CL Dupree, her father-Peter Ferguson, her mother-Theresa Ferguson, sisters-Marguerite Tackel, Lucy Dupree, Ethel Beaube, Mildred Germany, Nell Erwin, Audrey Mae Ferguson, and Emma Ferguson, brothers-P.R. Ferguson and Bill Ferguson.

She leaves behind her three children Ethel Mae Robbins of Jigger La., George Dupree of West Monroe La., and Margaret Aymond of Wisner La.,and long-time son-in-law, James Aymond of Winser La. as well as all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 PM to 8 PM with the funeral service following on Thursday at 2 PM with Bro. Ron Ferrington officiating.

The pallbearers will be her grandsons: Jimmy Aymond, Greg Dupree, Jerry Robbins, Charles Aymond, Jo Jo Aymond, Danny Robbins, and CL Robbins.

Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons: Michael Dupree, Wesley Aymond, David Aymond, and Jonathan Thompson.

We love you, miss you, and will see you again.
