Port Hadlock resident Donna Lucille Brown died of cancer in Jefferson Healthcare hospital, Port Townsend. She was 65.
She was born in Seattle to Roy and Nancy Liona (Hill) Dunn.
She married Dwane D. Brown Sr. in Port Townsend on May 26, 1956. He died Dec. 15, 2003.
Mrs. Brown, who was a longtime Port Townsend resident, worked in the healthcare field for many years -- as a certified nursing aide at Kah Tai Nursing Home and Jefferson General Hospital (now Jefferson Healthcare) as well as providing in-home care.
Crafting, gardening and sewing were among her hobbies.
She was a member of Evangelical Free Church of Irondale.
Survivors include son Dan Brown and son and daughter-in-law Dale and Carol Brown, both of Port Hadlock, son and daughter-in-law Dwane and Jennifer Brown Jr. of Four Corners; daughter Donetta Brown of Chimacum; brother and sister-in-law Victor and Marie Anderson of Port Townsend; sisters and brothers-in-law Violet and Richard Twiggs and Susan and Robert Scalf, all of Port Townsend; and sister Gail Stamey of Atlanta. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brother Ray Anderson.
Services: Saturday, Feb. 4, 2 p.m., memorial in Evangelical Free Church, 681 Irondale Road, Irondale. The Rev. Dave Hodgin will officiate.
Private inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, Chimacum, with Kosec Funeral Home, Port Townsend, in charge.
