Marjorie Dunn Boyce 83, passed away on July 2, 2007 from complications due to diabetes.
She was born April 21, 1924, in Logan, UT, to Leslie S. and Ann Mitton Dunn.
She graduated from Logan High School in 1942.
She served an LDS mission from 1948-1950 in Sweden.
She married Asael H. Boyce on August 2, 1951 in the Logan temple.
She retired from H.A.F.B. in 1988.
Marjorie loved to sing and was in the Jay Welch Chorale for 20 years. She was active in the LDS church serving in the Primary, Relief Society, and many years as a pianist and choir director. One of her favorite past times was singing with her sisters. Most recently she was the editor and coordinator of the Harrison newsletter at the Harrison Regent where she resided. Marge touched many lives and made friends wherever she went. She will be missed deeply. We love you mom.
She was preceded in death by her husband Asael Boyce in Feb 2003.
She is survived by her children, Donald A. Boyce, Daytona FL, Wendy and Kelly King, Randolph, UT, Richard and Nancy Boyce, Ogden, UT, Eileen Sorensen, SLC, UT, twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her loving sisters and brother, Mary Staheli, Elaine Staheli, Rae Harding, Ann Bingham, and Les Dunn.
A special thanks to her many friends from her family home evening group and her new friends at the Harrison Regent.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Washington Terrace 4th Ward Church 4760 S. 200 E. Washington Terrace. Friends may call Tuesday evening July 3rd, from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday at the chapel.
