She was the daughter of John L.B. & Lucinda (Hoffman) Dunlap. She was the wife of James H. Blue. James Blue's parents were William Marshall and Adaline Cline Blue. William Marshall was the son of John Blue& Elizabeth McNary. William Marshall was killed at Guntown, Lee County, Mississippi 10 Jun 1864 during the Civil War. His burial place is unknown. The last census James shows up on was the 1880 Fancy Creek, Sangamon County, Illinois census. Catherine filed for divorce Nov 1885, but there is no case number, but it is in Vol 15/ Page 153 held at Bookens Library at the Sangamon State University.
