ELIZABETH J. "BETTY" (DUNKLE) -- Elizabeth J. "Betty" Bowser, 86, of Clarview Nursing &
Rehabilitation Center (Sligo), formerly of Emlenton and Perryville, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Aug.
28,2008 at the Clarion Hospital. Born on July 5, 1922, in St. Petersburg, Clarion County, she was the daughter of Perry
C. and Emma J. Gates Dunk1e. She was married on June, 1947, to Earl C. Bowser, who passed away May 5, 1995. Mrs.
Bowser was Protestant by faith. She was a devoted housewife and mother for her adult life. She is survived by three
daughters, Gloria Sullivan and husband, Frank, of Emlenton, Mary Lou Delaney and husband, James, of Clarion and
Rita Morrow and husband, Richard, of North Washington; three sons, James Bowser and wife, Dixie, of Bruin, Jerry of
Minneapolis, Minn. and the Rev. Rick Bowser and wife, Deborah, of Rector. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; a
number of great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her
parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
