Parents: Esmond and Elizabeth Dunham.
Earl Dunham was reared in Maine, and then as a young boy he moved to Montana where he received his education. He worked as a cowboy and in the gold mines in Montana.
He married Thelma Pollock on Oct. 25, 1942 at Hardin, Montana. They moved to Douglas in 1943 where they first leased the Whiting Ranch and then the Linemar Ranch. They then bought the Whiting Ranch on Walker Creek, where they resided until the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Dunham, of Douglas; three children, Bill Pollock of Worland, Bob Pollock of Douglas and Doris Kugler of New Raymer, Colo.; one brother, Linn Dunham of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dave Pollock; one brother and one sister.
