My Mawmaw told me a story about Mary Victoria claiming she was a Indian Princess or the daughter of a Indian Princess. And that one day while out in the field she got into a argument with another farmer and hit him/her over the head with a hoe. According to this document shared it seems she WAS a Cherokee. Other kids: Daughter, Alice and sons, Jerry, Oscar and Arthur.
