MRS. JOHN BARKER
Greenup, Ky. - Mrs. Nancy Susan Barker, 76, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday at her home in Greenup. She had been ill three years.
Born April 4, 1887, in Rowan County, Ky., she was a daughter of the late John and Millie Barker Duncan.
Mrs. Barker moved from Oldtown to Greenup 19 years ago.
She was a member of South Shore Regular Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Barker; four daughters, Mrs. Garnett Wright and Mrs. Exie Justice, both of Worthington, Mrs. Lillie Stapleton of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, and Mrs. Maxie Musick of Raceland; two sons, Paul Barker of Greenup and Robert Barker of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Everett Duncan of Raceland and Arnold Duncan of Wayne, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Flannery of Ripley, Ohio, Mrs. Pearl Flannery of Dayton, Mrs. Ada Coburn of Inkster, Mich., and Mrs. Lucy Pickle of Blackstone, Mich.; 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Little Rosa Baptist Church at Smith Branch. Revs. Albert Boggs and Jesse Boggs, both of South Shore, are to officiate, with burial in Brick Union Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 tonight at Riggs Funeral Home in Greenup and after 3 p.m. Sunday at the residence.
