MRS. CLARA E. BROCKUS
Mrs. Clara E. Brockus, 80, Richmond, died at 7:30 p. m. Thursday, in Cedar House Nursing Home. She had been in ill health for some time.
Services will be in the Richmond Community Methodist Church at 2 p. m. Saturday.
Rev. Gerald Snell will officiate. Burial will be In Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Brockus was born March 28, 1884, at Lane, She had lived in Franklin County all her life. She taught in the county schools for a number of years and continued her interest in community affairs.
She was married in 1905 at Lane, to George W. Brockus who died in 1918. She was the last member of her family. She was a member of the Richmond Community Methodist
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Irene Chaloud, Independence, Mo.; four sons, T. L. "Roy" Brockus, Olathe; Clyde Brockus, Lane; Harold Brockus, Independence, Mo.; and
Merle Brockus, Richmond; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
