"Betty" was the beloved wife of the late Fernand E. Boucher, who died Oct. 31, 1986.
Born June 4, 1921, in Haverhill, Mass., daughter of the late Emile F. and Helen (Huard) Dumont, she was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School, Class of 1938.
Mrs. Boucher had worked as secretary at Henschel Corp. in Amesbury, Mass. During the 20 years she lived in Northwood, she worked at Christian Mutual Life in Concord and during that time was a member of the Epsom Baptist Church. Several years after the death of her husband, she moved to Hampstead, where she became a member of Island Pond Baptist Church and was active with the women's ministries.
She enjoyed quilting, rug hooking and braiding, creating beautiful treasures that she shared with family and friends.
Her survivors include two sons and a daughter and their spouses, Richard L. and Beatrice Boucher of Georgetown, Daniel V. and Cathie Boucher of Newbury and Dianne M. and Michael Tang of Dracut, Mass.; nine grandchildren, Peter and Michael Boucher, Suzanne (Boucher) Downs, Maxwell and Asher Boucher and Michael, Josh, Benjamin and Daniel Tang; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Arlene J. Huntress of Atkinson; a brother, Lucien E. Dumont and wife, Phyllis, of Harwich, Mass.; and several generations of nieces and nephews.
