Dumais, of Newton Centre a longtime HAM radio operator (W1LJO) died suddenly June 8, 2010 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital. He was 91. Born in Quebec, Canada he had lived in Newton for over 60 years. He served with the US Navy during WWII and attended the Peterson School of Engineering. He worked as an engineer for Cambridge Electric Light Co., and retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of the NRA and the Woburn Sports Club. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Marchese) Dumais. Father of Joseph and his wife Irene, Leo and his wife Monica, Jeanne Major and her husband Joseph, Paul E. Jr., Mary and her husband Charles, and David and his wife Deborah.
