Doris L. Clark, former Whitney resident, passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Doris was born August 14, 1926 in Limestone County, Texas, the daughter of Henry L. and Georgia M. Dugger. She was a graduate of Whitney High School.
She married Duke M. Clark on December 30, 1950 in Milford. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse, working at Grant Buie Hospital in Hillsboro for many years.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Duke M. Clark, and by brothers, Orla and Emory.
Survivors include her children, Janelyn Reader and husband Bill of Alamogordo, N.M., Jacquelyn Clark and Ray Steadman of Cleburne; grandsons, Ryan Reader and wife, Ashley of Austin and Lance Reader of Plainview; great grandchildren, Alex and Wyatt Reader of Austin; five nieces and five nephews.
