Mary Ann White, age 91, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 9:10 a.m., on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in Forum at the Crossing in Indianapolis.
Born on March 7, 1923, in Burnettsville, she was the daughter of John C. and Victoria M. Pierce Duffey.
When Mary Ann was six months old, the family moved to Logansport. She was a 1941 graduate of Logansport High School.
On March 4, 1944, in Huntington, she was married to Howard H. White, who preceded her in death on May 26, 1980.
After the death of her father, she and Howard continued to run the Duffey Insurance Agency until retirement in 1989. Mary Ann was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, and a former member of Altrusa International.
She had lived in Indianapolis since 2007.
Surviving are her son, Michael H. (Linda) White, Carmel; granddaughter, Stepahnie White (Dan) Bishop and two great grandchildren, Isabella and Samuel, all of Noblesville;
Mary Ann was also preceded in death by a son, John.
Per Mary Ann's request, a private memorial graveside service will be conducted at Davis Cemetery.
