HYDE - Jesse F. Duckett, 82, of Hyde died at 4:05 p.m. Monday, March 4, at Mountain Laurel Nursing Center, Clearfield.
Born Feb. 2, 1903, in Clearfield, he was a son of Thomas P. and Carrie (Fletcher) Duckett.
He was retired from Clearfield Machine Co. and had been employed by Lawrence Township for 10 years. Mr. Duckett was a member of the Hyde Fire Co.
On Oct. 27, 1925, he married the former Agnes Haversack, who survives with these children: Francis, Kenneth and Richard H. Duckett, all of Hyde; Mrs. Tony (Margaret) Busch of Buffalo, N.Y.; Daniel Duckett of Clearfield; Mrs. Santo (Joan) Cardinale of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; and Mrs. Kenneth (Sonja) Conaway of Douglasville, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Mrs. Albin (Edith) Puza of Ormond Beach, Fla.; George Duckdett of Clearfield; and Walter Duckett of New York.
Mr. Duckett was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, one grandson and four brothers.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Church, beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robert G. Barcio will be celebrant and interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield. Christian Vigil services will be held in the funeral home tomorrow at 8:30 p.m.
