Funeral Services for Mrs. George Becwar, 81, were held Saturday, Mar. 27, at St. Gabriel's church. She passed away Wednesday, Mar. 24, in a Prairie du Chien hospital.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic DuCharme, she was born Mar. 11. 1884 at Charme, Wis. She was married to George Becwar at Seneca, Wis.m and nine children were born to this union. She is survived by five sons and four daughters; Albert, Fred, Joe and Mrs. Mervin Holmes, all of Prairie du Chien; Clarence and Charles of Boscobel; Mrs. Clarence DeClue, Cuba, Mo.; Mrs. Charles Ramanek, Rockford; Mrs. Peter Crowley, Iowa City; Two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Cota and Mrs. Roy Delury, Prairie du Chien and a brother Ben DuCharme, Mississippi, 28 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, also survive. Rev. David Brehm officiated and internment was in the Calvary Cemetery. Otteson and Garrity had charge of funeral arrangements.
