Robert N. Duarte was called home to be with the Lord, February 19, 2003 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on 12-8-1942. He was a member of the Apostolic Church for 52 years, and a minister for 47 years.

He was employed as a meat-cutter for several large meat plants in the U.S.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Henrietta Duarte of Hanford, his children Mark and Priscilla Duarte, Noe Allen Duarte, Kimberly and Daniel Jimenez, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Ramos Duarte, Pastor Elias Duarte and his sisters Armida Diaz, Eva Silva, Sarah Reyes, Naomi Ramos many nephews and nieces who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Sara Duarte; son, Paul R. Duarte; sister, Lydia Sanchez; brother, Henry Duarte and grandson, Daniel Jimenez Jr.

Services will be held at Apostolic Assembly on Mt. Vernon, Wednesday, February 26, 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 27, 10 a.m. also at Apostolic Assembly on Mt. Vernon, with internment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
