Donald Earl Dryden, 67, of Winfield passed away Saturday, October 9, 2004 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 11, 2004 at Lindeman Chapel. Interment followed at Aikin Grove Cemetery with the Rev. A.B. Kellam officiating.
Mr. Dryden was born in Red River County February 19, 1937 to James Cecil and Viola Sweeden Dryden. He was a Baptist and a retired heavy equipment operator for the City of Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Dryden is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: J.C., James and Virgle Dryden. Survivors include his wife, Delores Van Hooser Dryden, Winfied; son and daughter in law: Dennis Dryden and Kelly, Mt. Pleasant; daughter and son in law: Rhonda and Van Shipp, Commerce; grandchildren: Christopher English, Morgan English, Dustin Dryden: Heather Dryden and Austin Dryden; sisters: Frances Pace, New Boston, Inez Stringer, Clarksville, Brenda Sears, Queen City, Mildred Martin, Li High Acres, Florida, and De Dell Mowery, Clarksville; and brother Charles Dryden, Clarksville.
Pallbearers were: Mike Wright, Joey Boyd, Kerry Green, Mitchell Dill, Chance Hunter, Roger Storey, Don Anglin, and Billy Craner.
Funeral services were under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home, Inc.
