Patricia was born May 11, 1934, in Fort Worth to Lane and Wilma Dryden. Pat resided in Colleyville where she was recently widowed from her husband of 54 years, Jerry Cook. Growing up in Fort Worth, Pat attended Paschal High School followed by Texas Christian University and then Texas Tech University where she met Jerry. She loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Pat enjoyed her many friendships formed over the years and the wonderful conversations over bridge. She loved doting on her family and was a fabulous cook. She will always be known for her chicken fried steak, fried chicken, homemade bread, cinnamon rolls and especially her chocolate icebox pies.
Survivors: Sons, Todd and wife, Peggy, of Southlake, Brett of Houston and Trey and wife, Tonya, of Houston; grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Preston, Emily, Brandon and Garrett Cook; and brother, Lane Dryden Jr. of Early.
