Born July 26, 1923 in Rockford, WA; passed away November 3, 2007 in Spokane, WA. She is survived by her sons: Michael R. (Sharry E.) Drowley of Spokane, Timothy D. (Jamie L.) Drowley of Valley Ford, WA; sister, Betty Towers of Spokane; nine grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse R.; one brother and two sisters. Kathleen was a resident of the Spokane area all her life. She was a member of the Rockford Historical Society and Mica Peak Society. After attending school, she worked for a cracker company in Spokane, two watch repair companies and at the Crescent Department Store in the watch repair division. She enjoyed being involved in the Medal of Honor Society and being invited to several presidential inaugurations and veterans affairs activities. She always enjoyed cooking for friends and family. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and geneology. Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2007 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 10 at 9:00 a.m. , with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m., all at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Society of your choice.
