Lola Griffin Beasley
Mrs. Lola Griffin Beasley, age 82, of Walnut Hill, Fla., died at her residence on
Friday, January 28, 2011. She was a beautician for forty years and a member the Walnut Hill Baptist Church. She was born in Daytona, Fla. to the late Oswell F. and Zeffie L. Williams Driggers.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Griffin; one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Beasley is survived by her husband Irvin Beasley of Walnut Hill; a son, Frank
Griffin and wife, Myra of Newberry, Fla.; one daughter, Linda Timmons of Palm Coast, Fla.; a step-son, Joseph Beasley of Stockbridge, Ga.; a step-daughter, Judy Hall of Walnut Hill; one brother, Cohen Driggers of Orange Park, Fla.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ted Bridges and Bro. James Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery at Palatka, Fla. Thursday, February 3, 2011.
The family will receive friends, Monday, January 31, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
In Lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
