The Grand Gulf Military Park Museum, Claiborne County, Mississippi, displays a hoop skirt which belonged to Olive Margaret Drexler Caston, who was born in Fayette, Mississippi. During the Civil War, she lived with her family in Grand Gulf. When the gunboats shelled Grand Gulf, it was reported that a shell went through the back of a rocking chair which sat on the front porch of her house.
