She was married to Anthony Joseph Drexel and had the following children: Emily, Fannie, Mae, John, Anthony Joseph, and George William Childs Drexel. Her husband and she cared for the two daughters of Francis Anthony Drexel from the time of his wife's death in 1858 and his remarriage in 1860. The 1880 US Census identifies her birth year as 1837.
