Mrs. Drewry, a homemaker, was the widow of William Royce Drewry and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lexington. She loved her church very much and was a long time member of its choir. Her love of home and family and lessons taught will always be remembered.

Kathryn Drewry, 90, a former resident of Union City and the sister of Bill Massengill of Union City, died in Culleoka on Sept. 29, 2008, at the home of her daughter, Kathy Perry, with whom she was making her home.

Funeral services will be at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington at 10 am Friday. Burial will follow here in East View Cemetery around noon Friday. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the services. The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First United Methodist Church, where she was a former member, or Lexington First United Methodist Church, where she was a member.

She was born in Union City, daughter of the late WZ and Inez (Dahnke) Massengill. She was the widow of Royce Drewry, who died in December 2006. She is also survived by her son, David Drewry of Fairfax, Va., three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several other relatives, including her sister-in-law, Frances Massengill of Union City; her niece, Judi Pitts of Union City; her nephew, Tim Massengill of Nashville; two great nieces, Piper Worrell and Angie Worley, both of Union City; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
