GRIM REAPER TAKES TOLL

Mrs. Eddie Drew Died Last Monday Morning

MRS. ADA MAY DREW

The entire community was shocked, Monday, when it was learned that Mrs. Eddie Drew had passed away, and, although the news was not unexpected, it brought a great sense of grief and desolation over the hearts of the many friends of the Drews.

Nervous disorders, with a complication of ailments brought about the death of Mrs. Drew, who had won for herself a place in the community life which will be hard to fill.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. W. Irving Smith, and burial was in Crescent cemetery.

Ada May Farr was born Jan. 22, 1869. On April 5, 1905, she was united in marriage to Edgar Drew, and to this union were born two children: Gracie May and Violet, both of whom, with the husband, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Farr, who reside in Guthrie, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Drew, are left to mourn their loss.

Mrs. Drew united with the Methodist church at Winfield, Kansas, in girlhood, and lived a consistent Christian life until God took her home. She was a true wife, mother and friend, and the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved relatives in their great grief. She was 50 years, eight months and 14 days old at the time of her death.
