Eunice S. Drentlaw, 77, of Hastings, Ne., died Sunday, October 17, 2004 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Eunice was born January 7, 1927 in Nuckolls County, near Bostwick, Nebraska to Robert H. & Matilda ‘Tilly' (Campbell) Parsons.

Eunice graduated from Superior High School, Superior, Nebraska. She worked for Woolworth's in Phoenix, Arizona, Denver, Colorado and Hastings, Nebraska for 38 years until the closing of their stores. She also worked part-time for Gibson Greeting Card Company. She married Arthur Drentlaw on August 29, 1975 and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1986. She lived in Hastings for the last 28 years. She did volunteer work at Golden Friendship Center, member of Sight Council and Moonshiner's Band.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur, brother, Daniel Glenn Parsons, sisters, Hazel Hockett, Gladys Wilton, Ellen Calder and Alta Parsons, and a very special friend, Fred Armstrong
