Irene J. Drayfahl, 85, of Washington, died Sunday, Feb 10, 2008, in the Washington Care Center with Alzheimer's disease.
Mrs. Drayfahl was born Feb 10, 1923, in Valley City, ND., the daughter of James and Blanche (McClafflin) Carroll. She married William V.F. Drayfahl on Sept. 30, 1939, in MN.
Surviving are six children, Jim and wife Lois of Ainsworth, Larry and wife Jan of Washington, Carol Nardy and husband Bob of Washington, Wesley of Atlissa, Cheri McPharland and husband Dan of Ainsworth, and Michael and wife Celia of Wapello; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1993; and one brother, Frank Carroll.
