Laura Drake, aged 9 years 2 months 14 days, died at the home of her Grandpa Rader, Jan 1, of lung fever. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Drake, living 1 mile east of Piedmont. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Stetson, Wednesday at the Piedmont Cemetery. An older sister died earlier.
