Curtis D. Drake, 46, of El Dorado, died Sunday, June 27, 1993, at the El Dorado Lake. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka.

He was born Aug. 1, 1946, in Quincy, to Cecil and Mary Matlock Drake. He had lived in El Dorado for five years and was the kitchen manager at the Red Coach Restaurant. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.

Survivors include: companion, Wanda Spaht; sons, Curtis Wayne of El Dorado, Ellis Lee of Rose Hill; daughters, Jo Anna Drake, Melanie Drake, both of Woodward, Okla., Elissa Drake of Rose Hill; mother, Mary Ehrlich and step-father, Leon Ehrilich of El Dorado; sisters, Beverly Smith of El Dorado; Diana Powe of Leon, Donna Gulick of Speerville, Karen Olson of Wichita; brothers, Randy, Leon, Philip, all of El Dorado, Joe of Eureka; two grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in his name and donations may be left at Carlson Funeral Home.
