Co. F, of the 7th Indiana Infantry.
Belteshazzar and his brother
John Nelson Dragoo were both
in the Civil War.
Belteshazzar served beside his
brother John Nelson Dragoo,
from March 26, 1862,
until Belteshazzar was killed at
North Anna River [VA] on May 25, 1864.
Belteshazzar was born Jan. 3, 1835
in Brown County Ohio. He married
Amelia Henderson Sept. 21, 1854 in
Johnson County Indiana. They had two
children, Louis Jackson Dragoo, and
Sarah Jane Dragoo who married Oscar
Daily Branigin.

was born Jan. of 1857.
She was married on Jan. 17, 1878, in
Johnson County Indiana, to Oscar Daily
Branigin. They had three children:
Clarence L. Branigin (1880-1950)
(who married Elizabeth Durbin Waltz),
Ralph Emerson Branigin (1883-1941),
and a child who died in infancy.
Ralph Emerson Branigin married
Eva "May" Bridges, and had
the following children: Hazel, Arline,
Carl, Harold, Donald, and Sarah.
Sarah Jane (Dragoo) Branigin died
in 1927, in Franklin, Johnson County
Indiana, and she is buried in this
Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin Indiana.
