Albert Dozier passed away at home Tuesday, October 26, 2010. He was born on September 8, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles and Eleanor Dozier. He was married to Barbara Dozier for 51 wonderful years. They had two children, Layton and Lorrie, who lved and adored him.

Al graduated from Central High School in 1955 and became an accomplished brick mason. H worked at Sheffield Steel for 27 years retiting from here. After retirement he worked at the family business; Dozier Printing in Owasso. Al was a 32nd Dgree Mason and a member of the Delta Masonic Lodge No.425, and the Tulsa Scottish Rite. He was alo a member of the Ford Early V8 Club in Tulsa and an active member of Friendship Baptist Church of Owasso.

Al was predeceased by him beloved wife, Barbara Ann Layton in 2008. He is survived by his son Layton and wife Debi Dozier of Deltona, Florida; his daughter Lorrie Dozier of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his nephew Steve and wife Ciondy Yancy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his niece Cathy Yancy Elliott of Owasso, Oklahoma and many great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Al was a lover of life, his family, and his friends. He loved to spend time working on his 40 Ford Convertible, his hime, fishing, wood carving, travel and just being there to lend a heping hand to his children and friends with their many projects.

Al had the most wonderful, pleasant disposition and was loved, respected and enjoyed b many. His sense of humor and easy going personality made him a pleasure to be around. He worked extremely hard most of his life to provide for his family but knew how to be a great husband and father and friend as well.

You will be missed, but never forgotten.
