Harry Jewel Doyle, 61, formerly of Lafayette, died at 10 PM Tuesday [Oct. 7, 1986] in his Fort Myers, FL, home, following a lengthy illness. Born at Sharpsville, June 18, 1925, he lived in Lafayette before moving to Florida 3 1/2 years ago. He married Ruby Marie May on Sept. 20, 1946. in Lafayette, and she survives.

Mr. Doyle was an electrician at Alcoa for 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and Alcoa 25-Year Club, both in Lafayette, and he was a World War II veteran of the Seabees.

Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Maj. Toni Doyle of Kansas City, MO, Cindy Marie (Mrs. Douglas) Sellers of South Bend, and Marcia Ann (Mrs. Gregory) Leffert of Logansport; a sister, Eunice Dowell of Zephyrhills, FL; a brother, Richard E. Doyle of Somis, CA; two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
