DOYAL - Frank Denny, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the age of 87. The son of Hugh Sherman and Maggie (Wing- field) Doyal, Frank was born July 9, 1919 in Jennings, OK. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was proud to have fought in the Battle of the Bulge under General George Patton. He married Elsie Pate on Nov- ember 14, 1946 and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2006. Frank's career went from truck driver to roustabout to welding, from which he retired. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and bowler, he bowled a 300 game at the age of 66. He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings and his beloved son, Melvin Denny Doyal. He is survived by: his wife, Elsie of Tulsa; daughter, Carol of Tulsa; granddaughter, Amy Bomar and husband, Sonny of Tulsa; granddaughter, Teresa Doyal of Norman, OK; grandson, Melvin Denny Doyal, Jr. of Broken Arrow; and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #1. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, July 1, at Moore's Eastlawn. Funeral will be at 1p.m., Monday, July 2, at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, with interment at 3p.m., in Oilton, OK. Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 622-1155.
