Opal was born in Oklahoma, daughter of Alonz Ward and Cordia Bond Little.

Services for Mrs. Elmer Dowty, 45, were in the Baptist church at Alfalfa at 4:30 p.m. Monday and burial was in the Alfalfa cemetery under direction of the Hartronft funeral home. Rev. Walter Davis and rev. A.F. Heusel were in charge of the services.
Opal Tiny Little was born Dec. 17, 1903, at Apache. She came to The Alfalfa community in 1905 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lon W. Little, and lived there until the time of her death.
She was married to Elmer Dowty July 19, 1922. After her marriage she joined the Baptist church at Bethel and has since been a member.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Duwayne Dowty of Colony; her mother, Mrs. Cordia Little of Carnegie; two brothers, Melvin Little of Colony and Udell Little of Carnegie. All were present for the services.
