Tom Downer & Grace were married, then divorced. Tom later married Cecilia Cavanaugh with whom he had six children. They remained together until her passing in 1959. Tom then moved back to Nebraska where he remarried Grace.
Tom & Grace had no children.
Grace would see to it that we kids had plenty of bubble making liquid and jars for fireflies whenever we came to visit.
