Christopher Douthitt, 36, of Shallowater, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007.
Celebration of life services will be held Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Cowboy Church of the South Plains, with Ray Perryman Officiating. Burial will follow in the Lorenzo Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Sunday at Rix Funeral Directors on Broadway.
He was born in Arlington on Aug. 23, 1971. He moved to the West Texas area where he met and married his wife Michelle Perryman on Jan. 6, 1996. Chris was an active duty member of the United States Navy where he served his country honorably.
Those left to celebrate his new life are his wife, Michelle Perryman-Douthitt; two daughters, Maranatha Lee and Cameron Kay-Lee, all of Shallowater; his dad Dewayne; and brothers, Joey and Jason. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Douthitt.
