Franklin Duane Douglas, age 65, of Westmoreland, passed away on September 25, 2006, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was born in Sumner County on March 17, 1941. He is survived by his wife, Louise Gregory Douglas of Westmoreland; daughters, Lorie (Rex) Lance of Westmoreland, Tammy (Mike) Pasch of Portland; son, Frank (Christine) Douglas of Portland; 8 grandchildren, Brandon Lance, Trista Douglas, Tiffany Lance, Ashley Douglas, Casey Douglas, Nicholas Douglas, Jennifer Douglas, Heather Cole; great grandchild, Alyssa Lance; sisters, Clara Perry of Madison, Nadine Hall of Madison, Betty Deen of Portland, Dorris Stiles of South Dakota, Sandra Suttle of Murfreesboro, Diane Keen of Westmoreland; brother, Floyd Calvin "Buddy" Douglas of Portland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ethel Douglas, and sisters, Mildred Taylor and Christine Taylor.


Visitation will be 5-9pm, Monday, September 25, 2006, and 10am-9pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Funeral service will be 1pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with interment at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Crouch, Jason Howard, Allen Arnaugh, Brent Simon, Ronnie Cook, and Dewayne Duffer.
