Carl M. Douglas

FLORENCE - Carl Martin Douglas, 73, died on June 1, 2012, at his home in Queen Creek.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Coolidge Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Florence Cemetery.

Mr. Douglas was born on Feb. 14, 1939, in Florence to Carl and Lucille (Martin) Douglas. He worked in construction before retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Carl James Douglas of Florence and Charles Martin Douglas of Overgaard; three daughters, Linda R. Reid of Phoenix, Susan A. Lamb of Bakersfield, Calif., and Debbie L. Holyoak of Clay Springs; a sister, Mary L. Douglas Dunn of Yuma; 25 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanetta A.
