2001 obituary. YARMOUTH - Mark Doughty, 33, of Rand Road was lost at sea Aug. 5, 2001, in the sinking of the fishing vessel Starbound. He was born in Portland, a son of Robert C. and Shirley L. Horr Doughty, grew up on Chebeague Island and graduated from Greely High School, Cumberland, in 1986. He was very generous, and could light up a room with his smile and his eyes, family members said. Surviving are his wife; two daughters; his parents; a sister; and three brothers. Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Riverside Cemetery.
